Welcome & Opening

We gather because we believe God is here, and we want to make room for His presence. We come with expectation—not because of what we can manufacture, but because of who God is.”

Opening prayer:

“Father, we thank You for bringing us together . We lay aside every distraction, every burden and every expectation of what we think should happen. Holy Spirit, have Your way among us. Open our hearts to Your Word, lead us into deeper worship, and let us encounter Jesus in a fresh way. May everything we do tonight bring glory to Your name. Amen.”

Worship — “Come Into His Presence”

Build the worship around three movements:

• Praise: Who God is — holy, faithful, mighty, worthy.

• Surrender: Giving God our burdens, plans and control.

• Encounter: Inviting the Holy Spirit to minister to hearts.

Possible transition:

“Don't worship simply because the music is playing. Worship because He is worthy. Tonight, let's move from singing about God to becoming conscious of God.”

 

Glory begins with hunger

Matthew 5:6: “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.”

Ask: “What are you hungry for?”

Sometimes we want God's blessings without wanting God's presence. But true revival begins when our desire for God Himself becomes greater than our desire for what God can give us.

 

Glory requires surrender

Romans 12:1 calls us to present ourselves to God as a living sacrifice.

You can say:

“God doesn't just want a portion of our lives. He wants our hearts. His presence becomes precious when we stop trying to control everything and say, ‘Lord, have Your way.’”

Invite people to surrender:

• Their future

• Their relationships

• Their fears

• Their disappointments

• Their dreams

• Their ministry

• Their unanswered prayers

 

God's presence changes us

2 Corinthians 3:18 speaks of being transformed as we behold the glory of the Lord.

The goal of an encounter isn't simply to feel something during a service. The evidence of God's presence is transformation afterward.

“An encounter that doesn't change how we live has not yet completed its work.”

 

Ministry & Prayer

Transition into a quieter atmosphere.

Say:

“Let's take a moment and become aware of God's presence. You don't have to perform. You don't have to impress anyone. Simply come before Jesus.”

Then allow time for:

• Personal prayer

• Repentance

• Healing prayer

• Prayer for families

• Prayer for breakthrough

• Prayer for renewed passion for Jesus

 

Declaration

Have the congregation repeat:

“Jesus, You are worthy.
I surrender my life to You.
I make room for Your presence.
I make room for Your Word.
I make room for Your Spirit.
Change me.
Use me.
Send me.
Let Your glory be seen through my life.
In Jesus' name, Amen.”

Prophetic/Reflection Moment

Give everyone a few minutes of silence.

Ask them to reflect on:

“Lord, what are You asking me to surrender?”

Then:

“Lord, what are You inviting me to step into?”

This can create a powerful personal response without making the gathering dependent on emotional intensity.

Closing Challenge — “Carry the Glory”

End with Matthew 5:14–16:
“You are the light of the world…”

Say:

“Tonight doesn't finish when we leave this building. We carry what God has done into our homes, workplaces, schools and communities. We are not called merely to experience His presence; we are called to represent Jesus wherever we go.”

Closing Prayer

“Lord Jesus, thank You for meeting with us. Let what You have started tonight continue in us. Let our homes experience Your peace, our families experience Your love, and our communities see Your light through us. Make us people who carry Your presence wherever we go. May our lives bring glory to Jesus. Amen.”
